Daily brain training

Your brain has a rating.

21 quick games train logic, retention, attention and flexibility. Each one rates your skill like chess — so you can watch your Elo climb, day by day.

  • 21 games
  • 4 skills
  • 9 leagues
  • Free daily games
Two app screens: a Quick Math result — new best score, better than 93% of runs, +18 Elo — in front of the weekly Gold League table.
How it works

A few minutes a day. One rating per skill area.

Short games, an honest rating for each skill, and a plan that always trains your weakest one.

  1. Play a quick game

A round takes a minute or two: sums, patterns, cards, flashes at the edge of your eye.

    Quick Math: 8 + 9 = ? with four answer buttons.
  2. Every game rates you

Your result moves the Elo of that game’s skill area up or down, like in chess. After each session you see what changed.

Training complete: today’s Elo +22 Retention, +9 Peripheral, +14 Switching.
  3. Elo plans your workout

Each day Elo, the brain, picks a short session around your weakest skill and keeps the rest sharp.

Your daily training: a skill radar and the three games Elo picked for today.

The games

21 games. Four skills.

Every game trains one skill, and each skill has its own Elo rating — so your weakest skill is always the next workout.

Logic

Nexus

  • Quick MathSolve quick sums before the clock runs out.

Attention

Peripheral

Keep your eyes on the center, catch what flashes at the edges.

  • Peripheral ScanKeep your eyes in the middle and spot shapes flashing at the edges.
  • Constellation ScanCount the shooting stars that streak past.
  • Horizon SpanFollow the numbers in the center while catching flashes at the side.
  • Tap the NumbersTap 1, 2, 3… in order, as fast as you can.

Retention

Hold patterns and sequences in mind, then recall them.

  • Spark PatrolTap the sparks, never the blockers — then the rules flip.
  • Glitch RushDo what the rule says — until it glitches and changes.
  • Sort ProtocolSort by shape or color while the rule changes mid-round.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Brainelo free?

Yes. Today’s daily games, challenges from friends, leagues and leaderboards are free, and there are no ads. Pro unlocks every game without limits.

What is an Elo rating?

Chess uses Elo to rate players. Brainelo gives you one for each of its four skill areas — logic, retention, attention and flexibility — plus an overall rating that brings them together. Every game counts toward its area: good results push that Elo up, weaker ones pull it down, so the numbers show your real level — and how it changes over time.

Which devices can I play on?

Android: the app is on Google Play. iPhone: the app is coming to the App Store — join the iPhone list to hear on launch day, and play in the browser until then. On a computer, any browser works.

Are all opponents real people?

Not always. To make sure there is always someone to play, some players in leagues, leaderboards and challenges are computer-controlled practice players.

What happens to my data?

Your games and ratings are stored on our servers in Germany. Analytics only run if you agree, the app shows no ads, and you can delete your account at any time. Privacy policy

How do I delete my account?

In the app’s settings, or by email. Our delete-account page has the steps and lists what is deleted. Delete account
